Transport, Mobility and Logistics Cluster

The development and planning of future approaches to mobility in Berlin-Brandenburg is oriented around dominant global challenges and trends such as digitization, automation, intermodality and decarbonization.

The cluster made up of transport, mobility and logistics aims primarily at the exploitation of assets and opportunities that a more fragmented approach cannot properly apply. The goal is to develop and implement innovative products and services from Berlin and Brandenburg for the transport systems of tomorrow. That's why cluster management at Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie and the Brandenburg Invest (WFBB) are lending their support to stakeholders from business and science in networking and developing joint projects at regional, national and international levels.

The cluster for transport, mobility and logistics includes some 17,300 businesses with around 199,000 employees working in the highly industrialized fields of automotive, aerospace, rail systems technology and in the cross-disciplinary fields of logistics and intelligent transport systems.

More and more, transport, mobility and logistics in the capital region represents a coming together of well-established industries and SMEs with young, technology-driven companies. This increasingly results in new product ideas that help make future mobility more intelligent and bring added value to the region.
